We’ve been at beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park for two days, where we have packed in two fantastic hikes in this marvelous place. On Christmas day we did the classic figure 8 hike of the Navajo and Peekaboo loops and were lucky enough to experience a snow storm for the first 3 hours, which added an especially beautiful mood to the rock formations. Today, we completed the Fairyland Loop Trail, which was even more breathtaking than yesterday, with the blue skies and the snow still blanketing the hoodoos like frosting on a cake.
Here is a sampling of panoramas I took with my iPhone. I will have detailed posts about both hikes and our upcoming hike in Zion National Park upon returning to Fort Collins and digging into editing all the photos I have snapped.
